Anne-Marie Duff is an English actress and Narrator. Duff's television debuts came in the late 90s when she graduated from Drama Centre London. She became famous for playing Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons of the UK television show Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) saw her play queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen, and she also performed the principal role from From Darkness (2015). Duff played the role of Enigma in Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters The Magdalene Sisters Scandal (2007) French Film (2008) The Last Station, Nowhere Boy Before Go To Sleep (2014) as well as Suffragette (2005). Duff was nominated to win BAFTA awards in Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that, she was awarded the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for the television film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff was a multi-award-winning English actress.
